This Privacy Policy explains how Bank Statement PDF to Excel ("we", "us") at bank-statement-pdf-to-excel.com collects, uses, and protects information when you use the site.

Information we collect

  • Content you enter into the tool. Unless stated otherwise on the page, it is processed only to produce your result and is not stored. To produce AI results, it is sent to OpenRouter (routed to Amazon Bedrock) and Cloudflare Workers AI and AI Gateway (models: Claude Haiku 5.5 (Anthropic), Llama 4 Scout, Mistral Small 3.1), which process it on our behalf.
  • Email address (waitlist). If you ask to be notified about an upcoming feature, we store your email address only to send you that notice. We do not share it, and we delete it on request.
  • Usage counts. To enforce free daily limits and prevent abuse, we count uses per day against a one-way hash of your IP address and a random identifier stored in a cookie. We do not store your IP address itself, and the key used to create the hash is deleted after 2 days.
  • Usage data. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
  • Payment data. Payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not see or store your full card details; we receive only what is needed to confirm your purchase (such as email and order status).

Google sign-in

If you sign in with Google instead of an email link, we receive your verified email, name and profile picture to create or link your account. For new Google accounts, we store your email, name and profile picture. We use an essential session cookie for paid features. We do not store Google access, refresh or ID tokens. Use the same email as at checkout to see your credits.

Cookies and advertising

We and our partners use cookies to operate the site, measure traffic, and show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on those visits.

You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, and learn more in How Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

How we use information

To provide and improve the tool, keep the site secure, and respond to your requests.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run the site (hosting, analytics, advertising, payments) or when required by law.

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Optional problem reports and conversion statistics

Statement content and files are not stored unless you actively submit a problem report and explicitly agree. A report contains a browser-prepared copy without a PDF password, the extracted text and its coordinates, a layout fingerprint, a result summary, your optional note and email, and a submission time. Reports are stored in Cloudflare R2 to improve recognition and to reply to you if you leave an email, and deleted after 30 days. Do not include passwords in your note.

Conversion statistics contain only structural format categories, a layout fingerprint hash, result status, counts, cost and processing time. They contain no transaction text, filenames, email addresses or IP addresses. Abuse limits use a daily salted IP hash separately from reports and conversion statistics.
